P.O. Box 687
Clarksville, TN. 37041-0687
Notary
Public Application - Montgomery County
The Montgomery County
notary public application is filed with the following fee schedule:
| New
Notary |
$33.72 |
| Renewal
Fee |
$12.00 |
| New
Notary who is a State, County or City Employee |
$33.40 |
| Renewal
Notary who is a State, County, or City Employee |
$12.00 |
The Notary fees include
a notary seal, so you may want to inquire about a fee without the cost
of the seal. The Clerk's Office indicated that they would order the dies
only for your seal for $29.89 or $28.80 if you are a State, County or
City employee. You may want to visit our BondYourself.com
Supply Pages and do some comparative shopping - and we'll deliver
your order to you.
Once your application
is approved, the Clerk's Office will call to let you know you need to
secure a bond before your commission is ordered. You should not order
a seal or bond before you get the call from the Clerk's Office indicating
you are approved. The Clerk's Office indicated the biggest problem they
have with processing notaries, is the notary does not use EXACTLY
the same name on the Notary Application as on the Notary Bond. Be sure
you use the EXACT same name on both! (Note
